Demian Conrad has come up with a truly great design strategy for the Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival (LUFF). Because the festival’s management has recently undergone some very public changes, Conrad worked with the concept of administration, specifically what that means within the context of underground festivals.
He eventually arrived at the solution of creating seven fictional management executives based on the seven deadly sins. The campaign is widespread and its media varies widely, ranging from performances by the “management” to somewhat traditional mailings.
My favorite pieces, however, are these fantastic posters plastered around the city; to the naked eye they appear straightforward as promotion, but if you are lucky enough to obtain a pair of red glasses distributed by the festival, they reveal themselves as something entirely different.
